The logistics force behind a listed solar company

Our listed solar company produces, distributes and installs solar panels. Since its European launch in 2007, Versteijnen has been the company’s European Distribution Centre (EDC).
An average quarterly volume of several thousands of shipments is now distributed throughout Europe via Tilburg, either directly or – in most cases – via a local distribution centre (DC).

But Versteijnen provides its client with more than just transport. Starting out, the entire European supply chain was a blind spot for the company. They needed insight into their multi-million euro flow of goods, which we were able to provide thanks to our IT infrastructure for warehouse and transport.
With all of its European DCs working in our IT environment as standard – which is itself linked to Oracle, our client can now view local real-time inventory details for all of Europe.
