Willem II
Ad de Kok is the founder and owner-director of the company. His collaboration with Versteijnen began several years ago at the stadium of the Tilburg Football Club Willem II. “When Versteijnen became a member of the corporate skybox at Willem II, things started rolling. We started talking and quickly realized that we could do some business together.”
Non-Regular Transport
Because Para International buys lots and then trades them globally, they deal with irregular transport. Therefore, a good logistics partner is crucial. “For example, we don’t have a trip to Antwerp to the same destination every day. For instance, one week it may be a trip from Germany to Tilburg, and the next week from Tilburg to Italy. The flexibility and pricing offered by Versteijnen are very favorable.”
To Full Satisfaction
Versteijnen thus arranges transports within Europe for Para International, both inbound and outbound. From pallet transports to large consignments. Ad has been fully satisfied for years. “I enjoy working with Versteijnen! The people in the office are nice and always provide a quick quote for the requested trip. Moreover, I find every driver we get extremely friendly, and perhaps more importantly, they are always on time.”
Tilburgers Among Each Other
According to Ad, the fact that Versteijnen is based in Tilburg is a significant advantage. “It’s nice to work with other people from Tilburg, but also logistically it’s convenient. For example, Versteijnen disconnects the trailer at our place, and then we can call when we have loaded or unloaded it. This saves me waiting costs and a lot of stress in the warehouse.”
For the Long Term
Ad experiences the collaboration with Versteijnen as highly pleasant and effective. He sees Versteijnen as a long-term partner. “I have no reason to stop the collaboration. Since we started working intensively together a few years ago, everything has been running smoothly. And I’m not saying this just because I’m being interviewed now, I really mean it!”
